WAXING
With over 25 years of experience collectively within the BLB team in the beauty industry. Body language beauty specialises in waxing making us a great option to go with.
As well as waxing services, we offer after care advice especially suited to those who experience in-grown hairs. We don't use the regular paper wax strips, we use special cloth strips which allows a more pleasant experience.
Ingrown hairs are unsightly bumps usually caused as a result of shaving, however some people can have this after waxing if they are not advised or go without the proper after care.
Our advice include natural lotion or gel and exfoliating advice. We keep up to date with market products to ensure the best advice is given at all times. Some products can also be purchased from us if it makes it easier for you.
Laser Hair Removal- How treatment works!
Laser hair removal uses a concentrated beam of light that targets the pigment (melanin) in your hair follicle. The pigment absorbs the light, converting it into heat, which safely destroys or damages the hair root at the follicle to prevent or delay future growth.
The Step-by-Step Process
Targeting: The laser's light energy passes through the skin and is absorbed by the dark pigment in the hair. Because of this, it is highly effective when there is a strong contrast (e.g., dark hair on light skin).
Destroying the Follicle: The absorbed light creates intense heat, which travels down the hair shaft and damages the cells responsible for hair growth.
Shedding: Over the 1 to 2 weeks following your treatment, the damaged hairs will shed from the follicle, often appearing as temporary "stubble" before falling out.

Skin Tag
Skin Blemish removal
Skin tags are sometimes itchy and can be irritated by certain types of clothing. We can safely remove Skin tags and benign blemishes such as DPN, Cherry angioma, milia etc, using cryotherapy (freezing) or electrocautery (heat). Because these procedures are generally considered cosmetic, they are often not covered by the NHS.
We can remove one or muliple skin blemishes.
Hyper/hypo-pigmentation may occur as the skin heals but this tends to improve as new skin cells develop.
